Linn, Amy. Illuminating News: What You Don't Know About Lightning Might Come As Shock. Providence Sunday Journal. August 21, 1988.

Abstract: This article explains some common misconceptions about lightning. For example, one misconception is that lightning never strikes the same place twice. This is untrue. Once lightning discovers an easy target it will likely strike again. The article also provides important safety precautions.
