NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION (NHTSA) PUBLISHES RECALL AFFECTING THE 1995 FORD MUSTANG, 1995 MERCURY SABLE AND 1995 FOR TAURUS
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has published a recall affecting the 1995 Ford Mustang, 1995 Mercury Sable, and 1995 Ford Taurus. On certain Taurus/Sable vehicles, it is possible for the engine cooling fan bearing to seize. Should this occur, excessive heat could be generated, which could melt the fan motor electrical connector. Components inside the cooling fan motor could ignite, potentially resulting in an underhood fire. Owners can contact Ford at (866) 436-7332. The Ford Recall No. 01S30. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has published a recall affecting the 2001 Dodge Truck Ram. On the 2001 Dodge Ram pickup trucks, the alternator wire connection to the power distribution center (pdc) can loosen. this could cause a vehicle fire. Owners can contact daimlerchrysler at (800) 853-1403. The National Highway Safety Administration Campaign Identification No. is 02V042000.
