6-4.1 Equipment and Facilities. Each person on the fire scene
should be equipped with appropriate safety equipment, as required. A complement
of basic tools should also be available. The tools and equipment listed
below may not be needed on every scene, but in planning the investigation,
the investigator should know where to obtain these tools and equipment if
the investigator does not carry them.
