Abstract: Groups and individuals at local levels are capable of establishing effective arson prevention programs. The crime of arson is rapidly growing in America and many communities have started arson prevention programs in response. This article contains guidelines for establishing an arson task force in chart form. It also provides some suggestions for forming a successful community program for preventing arson.
