RISS
RISS (Regional Information Sharing System) is an innovative, federally
funded program to support law enforcement efforst to combat organized criminal
activity, drug trafficking, criminal gangs, and violent crime. The six regional
projects--MAGLOCLEN, MOCIC, NESPIN, RMIN, ROCIC, and SWIN--provide member
law enforcement agencies in all 50 state with a broad range of intelligence
and investigative support services.
A centralized law enforcement database with connectivity among projects
and the capability of nationwide search.
