Abstract: This article is an outline of the 7th Annual National Arson Investigation Training Seminar. The seminar was lead by George Phelps, a veteran in the field of vehicle fire investigation. The topics discussed included: the initial inspection of the vehicle, photographing the vehicle, collecting evidence, reviewing the claim file, using experts, determining the origin and cause, and making the final assessment.
