 Indicators of Catastrophe Fraud. National Insurance Crime Bureau.
Abstract: When a catastrophe or natural disaster strikes, insurance
companies are usually overwhelmed with insurance claims. This makes them
vulnerable to fraudulent claims because they are forced to settle claims
quickly to help the insured with their sudden losses. This list is intended
for insurance companies to use to help them identify fraudulent claims during
these hectic events.
