A systematic charting of telephone call records that diagrams a pattern of activity between entities (persons, organizations, and locations). Most commonly, telephone toll charts are an investigative tool to help law enforcement understand the criminal activity around the target. However, they may be of assistance at trial to help the jury understand the communications between parties involved in the case.
